Presenter Information: Ed Stone, LTCP- Regional Sales Director, Transamerica Ed entered the insurance business in 1978 as a personal producer in life & annuity sales. He has served as an agency sales manager, regional sales manager, regional VP and national sales manager for several major insurance carriers, regional and national employee benefit and senior market brokerage firms. His professional concentration has been in DI and LTC marketing and training for the last 18 years. He is a published author of insurance sales articles and CE classes, as well as a certified CE instructor in many states. He has been a platform presenter at many local, state, regional and national insurance and accounting professional conferences on DI and LTC. In his current position as Regional Sales Director for Transamerica Long Term Care, he is responsible for all brokerage sales and management in the northern half of the United States. Ed has lived with his wife, Leslie, in Indianapolis for the past 25 years, where they were the 24/7 long term caregivers for five years to Ed’s late 96 year old father and 92 year old mother. Ed speaks with a passion and conviction for the need for Long Term Care planning at an early age.
